Japan's 3G phones top 50% mark
The latest cellphone subscriber numbers are in and they make for interesting reading. As Wireless Watch Japan reports, more than half of all mobiles in Japan are of the 3G variety. That's in spite of some companies making it hard for folk to get hold of their new handsets.
