10-megapixel cellphones rule

See that grumpy looking man in the photo? He’s Kitae Lee, President of Telecommunication Network Business at Samsung Electronics and he’s in a bad mood because the phone he’s holding at CeBIT has a pathetic 10-megapixel camera onboard.

Thing is, he’d been told he was getting 100 of them there megapixels and that really would show the rest of the world how big and strong Korea is these days. Unfortunately, the stage builders ran out of roses and had only enough to fill one of those zeroes in front of Mr Lee.

He’ll just have to make do with the 10 megapixels, 3x optical zoom and satellite DMB the CDMA 2000 1X EVDO SCH B-600 has to offer for now.
