And now the USB-memory, card-reading ball pen from Thanko

060830_spy.jpg

Thanko’s back with a semi-useful and definitely gimmicky USB memory-cum-ball pen-cum-SD/MMC card reader that it’s dubbed SPYDISK.

We don’t get the name, but the product is a typically hilarious Thanko spin on write-as-you-read. The USB clip memory comes in 128MB, 256MB and 512MB capacities, while the 144 x 15mm pen weighs 50g. Prices start at ¥2,800 for the 128MB version, ¥3,880 for the 256MB version and ¥4,800 for the 512MB version.

Yoshi’s take: Thanko — they’re pen-tastic!
