Buffalo is taking a break from unbreakable HDDs to put out a nice widescreen WXGA+ 19in display that will be in shops in Japan mid-August.
The 1,440 x 900-dot FTD-W924ADSR/SV has a 16:10 aspect, a response time of just 5ms, a brightness of 300 candelas per square meter and a contrast ratio of 800:1. The 446 x 178 x 375mm, 4.6kg model will sell for ¥39,800.

Yoshi’s take: That’s a nice display at a decent price. And the widescreen means it’s a break from the ordinary.
