Buffalo crams video broadcasts into private Skype channel

If you’re in Japan, really desperate to stream video over the ‘net from your home PC and can’t be bothered hooking up a Slingbox, then Buffalo’s Itsu Demo TV II Skype relay solution is a good way to burn through ¥12,800.

The idea is really pretty simple — the box just takes a video signal and pumps it into Skype, while the included software converts that into an outgoing video call — but the nerdy fun of cobbling it all together is surely worth the ticket price.
