Check PC! with METI

In its infinite wisdom, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has launched a one-month “Check PC!” campaign to promote safe interaction with our electronic partners.

Perhaps a bit alarmingly, METI has a 1,000-member Pasocon (PC) Rescue Group that will go trudging around to companies and even private homes teaching people how to avoid phishing scams, worms and viruses (try buying a Mac?). Less daunting is a publicity campaign involving TV commercials and posters. If there are any beautiful people involved with METI’s efforts, we’ll be sure to try to capture images for you.

C'mon - let's hear it...

Spammers beware: Any links in comments to commercial websites will be treated as paid advertising and will be charged at rate of $10 per link per day. Invoices will be sent to the idiots who hire you for so-called SEO jobs. All you good people will always keep it real, of course - thanks!
