I-O Data gets in on SDHC reading

060726_iodata.jpg

I-O Data has quickly jumped aboard the SDHC train with the USB2-C9RWG memory card reader. Panasonic and others will be pleased.

Mmm, guess which cards it reads from the illustration? For the record, it likes SD, CF, MMC, Microdrive, SmartMedia, xD-Picture Card (Type M/Type H) and Memory Stick Pro card formats.

This potentially busy little USB 2.0 Win/Mac-compatible card reader measures 60.5 x 72.8 x 19.4 mm and weighs 55g. On sale at the end of August for ¥2,772.

Yoshi’s take: A bargain at half the price.
