Light up plug adapters make travel feel fun again

There’s nothing particularly unusual about Kashimura’s new range of ¥350 ($3.50) travel adapters for AC plugs apart from the fact that each one lights up blue when the juice is flowing.

The company itself says that the blue LED has no practical purpose, but I kinda like the moody glow these things give off.

You can imagine the scene - you’re stuck in some godawful hotel on yet another business trip and would be either suicidal or in the dingy lobby bar until dawn breaks, were it not for that little blue firefly in the dark attached to your cell reminding you there is a point to going on. Or at least keeping your mind off things until the sweet embrace of sleep sucks you under.

I’ve said too much. Check ‘em out for yourself below.
