Sanyo is putting out two 8in screens for in-car entertainment early next month.
The ¥52,500 CAV-TD80 looks like it’s headed for the dash, while the ¥43,050 CAV-RD80 will sit in the back. Both have 480 x 234-dot resolution, and the TD version is also equipped with an FM radio. Apart from being able to pick up terrestrial digital, it will connect with Sanyo’s CAV-RD80 digital and 1-seg tuner when that comes out later in the year. The screens weigh about 570g.
