Speaking of Thanko, those mad professors are following up their sea slug mouse concept, which shook the gadget world a few weeks ago, with something even more leftfield. This time it’s a USB LED light that comes with a tank containing plastic fish and coral to sooth away our stressed keypunching with visions of exotic coral reefs and tropic fish exquisitely rendered in plastic.

Sure, the light contains no air purifier or speaker, but it does have the advantage of 17 LEDs that provide illumination. Check out more of the AQUA-LAMP’s amazing throwaway features at the link below. All yours for ¥2,480.
