Sharp has just announced what we all knew was coming sooner or later – the world’s first TV sets with built-in Blu-ray recorders.
The 16 Aquos LCDs range from 26 to 52 inches and will be available in Japan first (natch) from November at prices likely to be significantly higher than comparable non-BD models.
There’s no public info online yet, but keep an eye on Check out Sharp’s Japanese press page here for details. Or you could go English and download the PDF they sent us from here.
