Bath-time blues with Pioneer

Pioneer, bless them, is set to release the Happy Aqua speaker, which you can take with you into the shower or o-furo. Simply put your DAP or MD — or, if you’re that old-fashioned, your CD player — inside the snap-happy speaker case, plug the internal jack into the headphone socket, and there you are, ready to crank “White Rabbit” at full volume.

Pioneer doesn’t go into great detail about the crush depth of the case, so we advise you to play cautiously. The Happy Aqua measures 210mm x 212mm x 85mm and weighs 365g sans batteries. No word on the price yet.
