DoCoMo, Rakuten get it together

Our friends over at Wireless Watch Japan have an appropriately businesslike take on the announcement yesterday by online mall Rakuten and NTT DoCoMo that they plan to cooperate on a new mobile auction service. Author Gail Nakada pulls no punches in underlining how apparently ill prepared and shambolic these two giants appeared when asked pointed questions about matters as esoteric as exactly what it is they’re going to do.
