Gigabeat gets TV, 30GB hard drive

Toshiba appears to have really delivered, morphing its overpriced gigabeat DAP range into what looks like a very nice PMP with a 1-seg tuner, a 3.5in screen and a 30GB HDD in the relatively slim and lightweight form of the V30T. It plays music too…

The V30T certainly seems to shape up (124 x 75 x 19.5 mm), packing plenty of battery punch with seven hours of 1-seg TV on its 320 x 240 dot display and up to 25 hours of WMV/WMA9/MP3/WAV playback. The HDD can record up to 130 hours of tiny telly too. Not bad for 230g and ¥49,800.
