Holographic glasses create virtual display

Konica Minolta has some pretty cool stuff on show at Ceatec, including these eyeglasses that feature holographic displays to offer a virtual view of South Park, “mature” entertainment or, just maybe, something a bit more useful.

  • Wow the future has finally arrived. Do you think these will ever hit the retail market? Maybe in 20 years? Either way it’s really interesting to see that this technology is being developed. I always envisioned that a pair of eyeglasses could be turned into holographic displays that could project, well just about anything. Looks like I wasn’t that far off…
