When Japan’s first robot museum opens in October, it will also feature the world’s first specialized robot gift shop. Whatever that is.

Over 10,000 products will be available at the Robot Mirai Department Store in Nagoya, but pride of place goes to Nuvo, a humanoid bot that dances and responds to commands. The 35cm-tall Nuvo should sell for ¥588,000.

Yoshi’s take: “Dances”? “Responds to commands”? For 5,000 bucks, I expect that thing to mix drinks and massage my feet.
