New Aibo chows down on RSS

The new Aibo announced yesterday afternoon is notable for its enhanced ability to communicate with the outside world through improved comms software. The ERS-7M3’s Mind 3 software has had a 25% vocabulary boost to 1,000 words it can recognize. The plastic pooch can now also learn more efficiently, maintain a photo diary and get online to post regular stories on DWT. We made that last one up — it actually only handles blogs one way, through its inbuilt RSS reader and its ability to read out content from your favorite feeds. Pretty smart nonetheless.
