Nissan Urge/Xbox 360 update

More details are emerging about Nissan’s Urge concept car, which comes with an Xbox 360 built in. Drivers can use the Urge’s steering wheel, gas and brake pedal to control virtual Lamborghinis and Ferraris in the game Project Gotham Racing 3, all the while watching the action on a flip-down 7in monitor.

We know what you’re thinking, but don’t worry: the system doesn’t operate unless the Urge is parked, Nissan says. Let’s just hope that drivers who’ve caused a 200mph pileup in virtual reality don’t immediately head out on the highway and repeat the experience on real roads. Nissan will debut the Urge Jan. 9 at the Detroit auto show.
