PSP firmware updated again today

Sony, in its infinite wisdom, has today upped the Japanese PSP firmware by 0.01 of a notch to version 2.71, and in doing so has bestowed upon the handheld the ability to download game demos to a Memory Stick. There are also new demos of LocoRoco and a Sudoku game called Kazuo available for your instant gratification.

On the Portable TV side of the PSP equation new content, including action from the impending World Cup and Japanese TV news, was also announced.
