
Samsung says it has developed a technology that will make the LCD screens on its cellphones visible even in bright sunlight. The company’s been showing off a so-called “super-reflective” 1.72in screen, and it has fiddled around with the LCD module to help make a brighter picture for us.
Samsung plans to roll out the technology across its phones in “phases,” which means, we guess, that it will start with ones using the smaller screens first.
