Samsung Digimax i6 PMP

Samsung is showing off a host of great cameras at CES, including this Digimax i6, a 6-megapixel DSC/PMP that plays movies via Samsung’s Digimax Converter software) and MP3s. The i6 includes a 2.5in color display, and it can record movies in MPEG-4 in VGA (640 x 480 pixels) at 30fps; there’s even a built-in movie-editing function. On top the camera’s muscular megapixel count, the i6 also has a 3x optical zoom that’s equivalent to 39-117mm in 35mm format. The whole package is a svelte 3.7in x 2.4in x 0.7in and comes with 45Mb internal memory, all for $299.99. It goes on sale in the U.S. next month.
