Sega mu-bot headphones cooler than pickled fish livers
March 7th, 2007

If Sega’s mu-bot headphones were a foodstuff they would probably be ankimo — a Japanese dish made from the liver of a Monkfish. See, you look at it and think “What on Earth is the point of that?” But when you try it for yourself you just know you can’t go on without it.

Of course, if clipping a vaguely humanoid-shaped headphone-and-cutesy-case combo to your person isn’t your idea of cool, then you’re probably not going to be much into slightly pickled fish livers.

Either way, with or without your support, mu-bot goes on sale in Japan on April 21 for ¥2,940.
