Sanyo is following up the December release of its W33SA digital TV phone with the W33SAII, just in time to see the Japanese soccer team lose to earn a battling draw against an equally poor Croatia side on Sunday.

The weighty (149g) W33SAII has an FM radio, gobbles miniSD cards up to a gig of capacity, gets you LISMO and allows you to watch Naohiro Takahara repeatedly hack away, fall over and miss open goals on its 2.4in, 240 x 320 dot screen. Except if you live in the boonies of Japan, in which case you’ll have to wait until June 23. Lucky owners in Tokyo and Osaka, meanwhile, will be able to watch Japan stink up both halves against the Croats, because the battery lasts 210 minutes.
