Targus has just released its ACW20US Wi-Fi scanner, which is able to search for 802.11b/g hotspots without you having to find a table and unload the laptop. The scanner has a range of 60m outside and 18m inside and can let you know the strength of signals on up to 13 channels, providing their names and WEP requirements. The device measures 55mm x 27.9mm x 62.4mm, weighs 58g and costs ¥8,980.
