Banana gadgets, super-soapy shower slippers and ingenious uses for empty drinks bottles are among the zillions of products you didn’t know you needed, but now can’t live without, that are on display at this week’s International Gift Show in Tokyo.
The masses currently packing out the halls at the event don’t seem to mind that half their number probably no longer have jobs (perhaps that’s why they’re there from early morning) and are spending like there’s no tomorrow.
There’s far too much to go into here, so go check out Impress’s brief gallery (translated here) and choose a favorite.
Personally, I’m going for the ¥735 ($8.20) Banana Bunker from Coram – way to improve on nature’s already-perfect packaging, guys.
