Toshiba SDHC cards pumped up to 32GB

Users of SD cards might be keen to hear that Toshiba Japan has just revealed the world’s first 32GB SDHC card and that it will be available for a staggering ¥80,000 ($700) from January next year.

The Class 4 card does data transfers at 4MBps, putting it in the mid-range bracket, but Toshiba claims it can push that to 6MBps in the write cycle.

The company also announced a 16GB card that will be available a little sooner - October this year - and an 8GB microSDHC card due also in January. Read the press release for yourself at the link below.
